Spectrum Regulatory Consulting
Spectrum Regulatory Consulting

Our Federal Government spectrum customers are faced with the challenge of managing a large suite of spectrum assets for a variety of missions. These assets entail a full diversity of radio communications services and applications (e.g., radar, satellite, mobile, etc.). With the rapidly changing communications technology environment, our customers require timely evaluations of proposed regulatory changes for their existing systems and their future developments in order to provide optimal support to our warfighters. eSimplicity spectrum engineers work within local and national regulatory authorities and international and regional groups to consult on terrestrial (fixed microwave, maritime mobile, ground mobile, aeronautical mobile, IMT) and satellite (low earth orbit (LEO), medium earth orbit (MEO), highly elliptical orbit (HEO), geosynchronous satellite (GEO)) telecommunications systems.

National/International Regulatory Services

Our technical and regulatory expertise allows us to achieve the intended results while factoring in United States policies. Recognized as insightful collaborators in the spectrum study process, eSimplicity is uniquely equipped to communicate effectively across various disciplines and cultures. We participate in discussions, regulatory meetings, and working parties to advocate customers’ spectrum operation and influence outcomes for our customers. Our spectrum engineers work within local and national regulatory authorities, international treaty organizations, and regional groups, and various spectrum interest groups including:

* National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA);
* Federal Communications Commission (FCC);
* International Telecommunication Union – Radiocommunications Sector (ITU-R);
* Inter-American Telecommunications Commission (CITEL);
* African Telecommunications Union (ATU);
* European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT);
* Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT);
* Space Frequency Coordination Group (SFCG);
* European Space Agency (ESA)/ National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA)/ Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA);
* World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC);
* Conference Preparatory Meeting (CPM);
* National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA)/Department of Defense (DoD)/Department of Commerce (DoC)

Satellite Filing, Coordination, and Interference Studies

eSimplicity provides spectrum regulatory and RF engineering expertise to plan, coordinate and file/register all satellites (LEO, MEO, HEO, GSO). We develop various simulations at many levels of granularities to accurately determine the system performance, predict and quantify the EMC and EMI risks in a realistic environment. eSimplicity advocates and protects spectrum rights on behalf of clients.
