eSimplicity Awarded $40 Million CMS Quality Data and Analytics Services II Contract

Columbia, MD – eSimplicity today announced it has been awarded the Quality Data and Analytics Services II (QDAS II) task by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ). Valued at approximately $40 million, the award continues eSimplicity’s support of CMS in advancing the data, analytics, and digital capabilities that help improve healthcare quality for millions of Americans.

As the incumbent provider, eSimplicity earned the recompete through years of successful delivery, combining modern engineering practices and data expertise. The QDAS II program supports operations and maintenance while driving continuous improvements in data management, analytics, reporting, agile development, and user experience across CCSQ’s enterprise data and analytics environment.

“Winning a recompete is one of the strongest endorsements a team can receive because it reflects the trust earned through consistent performance,” said Nam Nguyen, President and Acting Chief Growth Officer of eSimplicity. “This award is a testament to our exceptional program team, whose commitment to delivering measurable results every day earned the confidence of our customer. We are honored to continue supporting CMS as they advance healthcare quality through modern data and analytics.”

Building on a strong track record of delivery, eSimplicity’s QDAS engagement modernized the way CMS manages and uses healthcare data by transitioning more than 1,800 users from legacy SAS-based workflows to a production-ready Databricks platform in just 90 days To support enterprise adoption, eSimplicity developed migration guidance, training materials, and hands-on learning sessions to help CMS users transition SAS code to Python and accelerate healthcare quality analysis, policy development, and reporting. The modernized platform delivered measurable results, including a 98% reduction in processing time for healthcare quality reporting workloads (e.g., nursing home quality reports). Processes that used to take days to complete are now done in about 30 minutes.

Under QDAS II, eSimplicity will continue leading the modernization of CMS enterprise data and analytics capabilities through agile delivery, human-centered design, data engineering, analytics, DevSecOps, and continuous platform improvement. The work builds on eSimplicity’s broader mission of helping federal agencies transform complex data into actionable insights that improve decision-making, operational efficiency, and mission outcomes.

The award further strengthens eSimplicity’s long-standing partnership with CMS and reinforces the company’s position as a trusted provider of digital modernization, enterprise data platforms, cloud engineering, AI-enabled solutions, and human-centered technology transformation across the federal health landscape.
