eSimplicity Names Dan Frantzen as Vice President and General Manager of Health

Columbia, MD – eSimplicity is pleased to welcome Dan Frantzen as Vice President and General Manager of Health. Dan brings more than 20 years of healthcare and technology leadership experience to eSimplicity, where he will lead the company’s Health portfolio, advancing its strategy and supporting customers across mission-critical programs.

Dan has led large-scale digital transformation initiatives throughout his career, including a key role in the recovery and continued evolution of HealthCare.gov. Prior to joining eSimplicity, he served as Managing Director and Technology Account Lead at Accenture Federal Services, supporting organizations including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). His expertise strengthens eSimplicity’s ability to help health customers navigate evolving mission needs and complex program demands.

“As we continue to support agencies advancing the future of healthcare, we are investing in leaders who understand that mission success is built by bringing together the right people, partners, and capabilities,” said AnhThu Nguyen, CEO of eSimplicity. “Dan has a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver complex healthcare missions. His ability to unite high-performing teams, foster trusted partnerships, and execute with excellence will help our customers elevate healthcare services and ultimately improve the health and well-being of the people they serve.

Dan’s appointment follows eSimplicity’s recent leadership transition, which included the promotion of Ed Benjamin, formerly General Manager of Health, to Chief Operating Officer. Today, eSimplicity supports federal health agencies through digital modernization, data transformation, and human-centered solutions that improve how people access and experience essential services. His appointment reflects eSimplicity’s continued investment in expanding its Health capabilities and supporting agencies as they modernize complex systems, improve digital experiences, and deliver better outcomes.

“I’m excited to join eSimplicity at a time when federal health agencies are under real pressure to modernize and deliver,” said Frantzen. “This team has built a strong foundation and a clear sense of mission, and I’m looking forward to building on that together.”
